Tej is an entrepreneur, investor, teacher and musician who grew up in the south of England but whose career and business now divide his time between a home and 'day job' in London and a 'home from home' in Merseyside. He holds degrees from UCL, Southampton University and the University of Chichester.

After studying music at both undergraduate and masters level, Tej taught English in Poland, before returning to the UK to join the Teach First Leadership Development Programme in late 2014.

Since then, he has progressed from a class teacher at a maintained primary, through the levels of school leadership at both a state primary academy and a prestigious independent school and was most recently appointed as Headteacher of a leading north London preparatory school.

With family based in Merseyside, Tej saw an opportunity in 2019 to develop a property business in Liverpool, buying, renovating and letting houses in fast-regenerating areas of this leading 'Northern Powerhouse' city.
